Yaser Asprilla, welcome to his new home, the Colombian talent was ...

Asprilla has been a valuable asset to Watford, contributing to as many as eight goals in front of the opposition goal.

Up to two clubs expressed interest in him toward the close of the window, indicating that his form has not gone ignored.

Pipe Sierra, a Colombian journalist, claims that on the day before the deadline, both Everton and Sporting Lisbon attempted to sign Asprilla.

Nevertheless, Watford rejected the Hornets’ proposals since they did not meet their valuation.

Watford is hoping that Asprilla’s value would rise in the summer due to his participation in the Colombian national squad.

It remains to be seen, though, if the teams show interest in signing new players during the upcoming transfer season.

Andy Crosby, the manager of Port Vale, is certain that Alex Mighten, a Nottingham Forest loanee, will have the resources at Vale Park to advance.

On transfer deadline day, the League One team declared that they had acquired the 21-year-old from Nottingham Forest for a season-long loan.

Lighten played for KV Kortrijk in Belgium for the first half of the season, but he was called up too soon after making ten appearances in the league.
