over the weekend, WWE superstarW surprised everyone by winning a rare mixed-gender bout. The 37-year-old celebrity, also known by his nickname “The Man,” paired up with Kevin Owens to compete in an untelevised tag team match in Lafayette, Louisiana against Nia Jax and the so-called Aussie Icon, Grayson Waller.
After the fight, Becky pinned Grayson for the three counts with her trademark Man-handle Slam. Grayson won the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge in 2022 and has held gold in promotions all across Australia.
Fans are astonished despite the match not being televised, considering how infrequently WWE features interactions between male and female wrestlers in the ring.
LMAO, Becky is pinning Grayson. On X, @TheMansKO chuckled, “Teamy Becky and Kevin>>>,” while @HayWWEGOAT said, “Oh my god, I didn’t even watch Becky pin him; I thought Kevin did after I’m dead 😭.”
“I was taken aback by Grayson’s beating at #WWELafayette last night,” tweeted @Thenightmare_32. Meanwhile, @beckysbiceps expressed shock, saying, “OMG, I can’t believe Becky buried Grayson Waller!!! 😱.”As a result, Becky Lynch pins Grayson Waller during a live event, as noted by fan @bigtimeEST. Is it the third man she has submitted or pinned in the WWE? Mike Kanellis, James Ellsworth, and now Grayson. 💀💀
Some fans were reminded of Mixed Match Challenge, an online competition in which WWE women and men competed in mixed tag matches.
The only people who have engaged in such exchanges in recent memory are Rhea Ripley, who is accustomed to bodyslamming Judgment Day’s opponents, and the male celebrities, who are rarely seen actually attacking a woman.
