Drone Leaks / Rumors
On the whole, drone leakers like Igor Bogdanov, OsitaLV and Jasper Ellens are focused on the DJI Flip, which is widely expected to be the company’s next consumer drone. However, Ellens has also dropped a few more hints about two other upcoming DJI drones.
For context, rumours about flying about DJI releasing the Mavic 4 and Mavic 4 Pro soon as well. Additionally, less than a month has passed since Ellens and OsitaLV mentioned the Mini 5 series for the first time. According to the latter, uncited sources have reported that Mini 5 drones are ‘coming late 2025’, presumably after DJI delivers the Mavic 4 series.
Moreover, Ellens reports that DJI will replace the Neo (curr. $238 on Amazon) this year too, despite only releasing said drone in September. Surprisingly, the same leaker adds that their sources have already received word that both drones are scheduled for release ‘simultaneously’. As a result, we would expect to see Neo 2 and Mini 5 more leaks
