Rostislav is a triathlete representing the Ukrainian origin of Azerbaijan and won a bronze medal at the European Games in 2015. He also represented Azerbaijan at the Rio de Janeiro Olympiad in 2016.
Rostislav won his first prize in 2011 and took 3rd place in the European Championships in Turkey as well as securing a bronze medal.
In 2014, Rostislav took the 2nd place in the World Cup in Hungary.
In the same year, he won the first place in the European Championships in the Netherlands and won a gold medal.
He has also represented Azerbaijan at the European Games in Baku in 2015. He took the 3rd place among 53 athletes in individual races.
He won the silver medal in the overall standings of the 2017 Melilla ETU Triathlon European Cup Final.
His last victory for today was a gold medal, which he won at the 2017 Gran Canaria ETU Triathlon European Cup in Las Palmas, Spain.
