New England Patriots Legend Was kill today by in Illegal Betting Scheme.
The NFL and the New England Patriots made announcements on Thursday afternoon regarding wide receiver Kayshon Boutte’s alleged arrest related to an unlawful sports betting operation. Boutte was charged with one count of computer fraud, a felony, and one count of gaming prohibited for anyone under 21, according to a statement from the Louisiana State Police.
As a wide receiver for the school, Boutte reportedly used an alias to wager on LSU games, according to the police statement.
The New England Patriots are aware that Kayshon Boutte is assisting Louisiana police with their investigation into an underage gambling charge while he was a student at Louisiana State University, according to Andrew Callahan of NBC Sports Boston. I do not believe that we will be offering any more remarks at this time.
Last year, the NFL had to deal with another gambling website when multiple Detroit Lions players were suspended for placing bets at.
the Lions’ complex. Because this investigation is related to allegations made before to Boutte’s NFL entry, Boutte’s case is unique. But the NFL will want to save its reputation. In order to send the message that the league would not accept members engaging in illegal gambling, they suspended players for the previous season. Given the rise in legalized gambling in the US, it is extremely crucial that the NFL avoid this.
