Sad News: Celtic legend deal rejecter with…….

Jaylen Brown Gets Real on Ex-Celtic terry Rozier Joining the Heat.

Terry Rozier, a former guard with the Boston Celtics, was acquired by the Miami Heat on January 23. Jaylen Brown discussed his feelings on his old teammate joining Boston’s foe before the Heat’s January 25 game against the Celtics.

Brown joked with reporters, “I think it definitely made sense, because Terry is already a native of Miami,” according to Celtics on NBC Sports Boston’s X account. Thus, I’m glad for him. He sort of meshes with what their culture stands for. Competitor, physical, tough, and with that kind of mentality. I believe that playoff experience has a significant impact.

Brown went on to discuss Rozier’s contributions to the Heat.

“It’s true that they improve. Terry’s athleticism, playoff experience, and other qualities make him a perfect fit, in my opinion.

From 2016 to 2019, Brown and Rozier were teammates with the Celtics for three seasons. During their three years together, they won at least one playoff series and made two trips to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Since departing the Celtics, Rozier has not participated in the postseason; but, given Miami’s championship ambitions, a postseason comeback could be imminent. One of the most memorable moments of the game occurred when Jaylen Brown dribbled over Luka Doncic during the Celtics’ game against the Dallas Mavericks. Tim Hardaway Jr. was upset that the highlight was shown on the Mavericks jumbotron, according to Jay King of The Athletic, who shared the information on his X account.

That escaped my notice entirely. If someone did it, they would lose their job. Brown stated, “That’s crazy,” according to Celtics on NBC Sports Boston’s X account.

Brown went into detail about how he played Doncic on that same play as well.

Simply displaying aggression. There was nothing else. It is a hoops game. When you read between the lines, a lot of things occur. I was just being aggressive, but I give him credit for trying to play defense. That was all there was to it—you never know when you might find yourself on the other side. It was a clever ploy.

The Celtics defeated the Mavericks for the third time in a row that evening.
