Report Deal: Newcastle have made sign huge contract with striker…

Newcastle may suddenly need a new striker, and 21-year-old who Howe says is ‘very talented’ is available.

It appears that Newcastle United will take a chance and forego getting a new midfield player despite their need for one for the entire month. When it comes to a striker, though, they might not be able to take the same chance.

Newcastle have two outstanding center strikers in Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson on a good day. They both have injury problems, though.

It is unknown when Callum Wilson will return to the field. He has missed Newcastle’s last five games due to injury.

Since Alexander Isak has been performing excellently in his teammate’s absence, his absence has not caused any problems. Having scored 14 goals so far this season, he is now Newcastle’s top scorer.

But now there’s a problem.

Isak did not play the entire game for Newcastle against Aston Vila, despite starting up front. He didn’t even get to the end of the first half.

Eddie Howe is optimistic that the 24-year-old’s groin issue, which took him off just before halftime, is not too serious.

It remains to be seen if that is the case, and considering the Magpies’ injury history this season, Toon supporters won’t be overly hopeful.

Furthermore, if Isak is expected to miss time with an injury, Newcastle will be without seasoned strikers.

This might compel Howe to use the academy, ask Anthony Gordon to play through the middle, or, on the last day of the window, enter the transfer market.

And there is a former Newcastle player who is very much accessible if he does decide to do that.
