Report Deal: Burnley made signs contract with french striker….

Report: French Football Star Eyed by Burnley.

The Daily Mail reported, “Burnley have stepped up their bid to sign Montpellier Centre-back Maxime Esteve, offering £10.2m with a 15 percent sell-on clause.” Burnley’s pursuit of the young French star has been in the news. Esteve, who is only 21 years old, has become a very sought-after player in the transfer market.

As the article points out, “Montpellier have already rejected a £9.7 million advance from Nottingham Forest for Esteve this January,” indicating his essential role at the French club, despite other clubs expressing interest.

With the second-worst defensive record in the Premier League, Vincent Kompany’s Clarets desperately need to strengthen their defense.

Their attempt to buck this unsettling trend is evident from their bid for Esteve.

Their only other acquisition, however, was “the loan signing of David Detro Fofana from Chelsea, the strikerwho scored twice in 17 games at Union Berlin in the first half of the season.” Their transfer activity has been somewhat low.

Esteve’s impressive rise from Montpellier’s reserve squad to a vital first-team member is evidence of his developing talent.

Several elite clubs have taken notice of him due to his physical presence at 6 feet 4 inches and his ability on the field.

But Burnley has taken the most noteworthy step thus far in their pursuit of his talents. With five points separating Burney from safety at the moment, the transfer window offers a chance to bolster their team considerable.

Aside from their aggressive bid for Esteve, their conservative approach thus far begs the question of whether. their strategy will be sufficient to secure their survival in the Premier League.

As the team looks to progress up the Championship table under Joe Edwards, Millwall supporters will be

hoping that the 23-year-old can replicate some of the form he exhibited at Swansea during the second part of the 2021–2022 season.
