Cowboys Moves: Micah Parsons ‘Going,’ Mike Zimmer ‘Coming,’ Dak Prescott ‘Signing’? FISH PODCAST.
FRISCO: When it comes to Dak Prescott’s contract as the NFL offseason approaches and Dan Quinn’s departure to assume a position as head coach of the Washington Commanders, there is no laughing matter.
However, there is some space to realize that a supposed to be lighthearted remark from Micah Parsons—one of the numerous remarks that garner so much attention—should not be taken too seriously.
In reaction to Parsons’ appointment of Quinn as head coach, Washington wide receiver Jahan Dotson is using to Twitter to mock his former friend from Penn State.
And as a result, there has been some miscommunication.
Once more, this is a result of Parsons’ recent “warm joke,” in which he stated, “Dan’s my guy.”And it’s always love if he (does) leaves me. Maybe he’ll take me along. You never know.”
Well, we are aware of it. With plans to retain Parsons in Dallas “for life,” the Cowboys will shortly begin contract negotiations with him that may result in an annual salary of up to $30 million, making him the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history. Along with endorsing Mike Zimmer as a potential defensive coordinator at The Star and clearing up a further confusion over club owner Jerry Jones’ stance on Dak’s deal, we discuss that in the Fish Report.
