Ipswich Town linked with Jessic Ngankam from Eintracht Frankfurt while Blackburn Rovers ‘unwilling to sell’ Sam Gallagher claims reports.
Ipswich Town have been linked with Eintracht Frankfurt striker Jessic Ngankam.
According to German website fussball.news, the Blues, as well as Luton Town and Royal Antwerp, have inquired about the 23-year-old.
Ngankam, who has made five appearances for the German Under-21 national team, moved to Frankfurt from Bundesliga 2 side Hertha Berlin in the summer.
He is yet to find the back of the net in the league for his new club but was on target in Frankfurt’s 2-0 win over Levski Sofia in the final round of Europa Conference League qualification.
After a loan spell at Greuther Fürth in the 2021/22 season, Ngankam returned to Berlin where he scored four times in 18 appearances across all competitions last campaign.
It was reported by EADT that Town are still in the hunt for another striker before tomorrow’s deadline, even after signing Ali Al-Hamadi from AFC Wimbledon on Monday.
