boat named “sailboats” went ablaze while it was docked along Cannon Street in Downtown Georgetown on Sunday
The Georgetown Fire Dept. responded to the call and had Midway Fire and South Carolina Dept. of Natural Resources (SCDNR) help with the situation.

First Responders successfully kept the fire from spreading to other boats that were in the area at the time of the fire, however, a portion of the dock was damaged.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, but no injuries have been reported.
Locals said that they could still smell the smoke when they woke up the morning after the fire.
