TRIBUTES have been paid to a “bright and beautiful” runner who tragically died during a Scottish half marathon.

 

Olivia Tuohy, 24, sadly passed away after participating in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival on Sunday, May 25.

The Irish national, from County Clare, was a student at Queen Margaret University on the outskirts of the capital.

Her passing has shocked the tight-knit community in Ennis, where she hailed from.
