Pittsburgh Steelers

The official website of the Steelers lists Sullivan’s new title.

When the Steelers appointed former Los Angeles Chargers assistant Tom Arth as quarterbacks coach earlier this month, Sullivan stayed with the team and accepted a new position.

In 2021, the last season of Ben Roethlisberger’s career, Sullivan became a member of the Steelers staff. He served as Mitch Trubisky’s backup quarterback coach and Kenny Pickett’s quarterback coach. Following the dismissal of offensive coordinator Matt Canada in November, Sullivan took over as the play caller on game day.

The Steelers have added Matt Baker to their coaching staff as an offensive assistant. Former Atlanta head coach Arthur Smith, who was sacked by the Falcons and went on to become the offensive coordinator for the Steelers, had Baker as a special teams assistant.

Phil Matusz, a former strength and conditioning coordinator at Boston College, was brought in to fill the same position. He takes over for Marcel Pastoor, who left the company after 23 years and never came back. Justus Galac was also hired to serve as the assistant strength and conditioning coach. After working as a temporary strength and conditioning coach with the Steelers in 2021, he is back with the team. The previous two seasons were spent at Temple.

As a coordinator of sports science for strength and conditioning, Roderick Moore has been added. As an assistant strength and conditioning coach in Atlanta, he also worked with Smith for the Falcons.
