Three former Steelers who could make a comeback to Pittsburgh in the offseason

A formidable defense and a build around quarterback Kenny Pickett need to be Omar Khan’s main goals in what will undoubtedly be a difficult first offseason. Their decision to do so with the best draft choices and while up against the salary cap indicates that they want to be quite active in both markets.

Looking at Pittsburgh’s needs, the offensive line is the first place to examine. But there are needs at wide receiver, defensive back, and linebacker. In the NFL Draft, the Steelers are anticipated to fix the offensive line and, ideally, choose a left tackle in the first few rounds. Those players at the top of the first round are more important than ever since there isn’t a strong offensive line in the draft class.
