A transfer into Oklahoma from the JUCO ranks, Kendel Dolby was a four-star recruit in the Class of 2021, according to the On3 Industry Ranking.
In 2023, he played in all 13 games for Oklahoma and earned an All-Big 12 honorable mention from the Cheetah position. That’s a position that sort of acts as a third safety or a hybrid defensive back role. It’s also a key role in Venables’ defenses, going back to his time at Clemson, being asked to stop the run and cover the slot in equal measure.
Kendel Dolby previously missed Oklahoma’s game this season against Tulane with a concussion.
