CALEB SPINNER AGO 7 MINUTES
Aaron Bradshaw, a center for the Kentucky Wildcats, revealed on social media that he will be joining the Ohio State Buckeyes for the upcoming campaign. At an astounding 7 feet 1 inch tall, the incoming sophomore dwarfs all of his new colleagues.

“Buckeye Nation is locked in,” Bradshaw wrote.

Bradshaw is still a valuable talent even though he hasn’t played college ball yet. Last season, Bradshaw averaged just under five points and four rebounds per game while playing nearly 14 minutes each night.

Bradshaw’s nearly 58 percent individual shooting pace is better than all but two of the Wildcats, despite those stats not being particularly striking. Better still, Bradshaw outperformed every Buckeye player (minimum ten shot attempts).

Bradshaw’s height will be a welcomed addition to Ohio State, as was already indicated. Felix Okpara, a rising junior who is 6-foot-11, is currently the tallest player on the Buckeyes.

When Bradshaw and Okpara combine, they will become one of the Big Ten Conference’s tallest backcourt combinations. The 7-foot-4 Purdue Boilermakers center Zach Edey’s decision to enter the NBA Draft will also provide the Buckeyes an advantage in height over most other clubs in the league.

This offseason, Bradshaw is the second player to transfer to Ohio State. Meechie Johnson, a guard for the South Carolina Gamecocks, made his return to the Buckeyes known earlier this month.

Bradshaw’s future with Ohio State has not yet been disclosed by head coach Jake Diebler, but it is reasonable to believe that the former Wildcat will be a key member of his new squad come football season.
