Breaking News: former ohio state buckeyes head coach would not mind returning back to the club next season…….

Urban Meyer, a former football coach at Ohio State, is back as a commentator on Fox Big Noon Kickoff.

Fox declared on Friday that Meyer will remain an analyst and that the original Big Noon Kickoff studio team will return in full. When Meyer was hired as the Jacksonville Jaguars’ coach last season, he stepped down from that role. After 11 defeats in 13 games and a few PR problems off the field, Meyer was let go.

As Ohio State’s head coach, Meyer won the 2014 national title with an 83-9 record. As a collegiate coach, he is 187-32 overall, including wins in two national titles at Bowling Green, Utah, and Florida.

Joel Klatt will serve as studio commentator, Jenny Taft as sideline reporter, and Gus Johnson as play-by-play for Fox’s Big Noon Saturday coverage team. For Big Noon Kickoff, Rob Stone, Brady Quinn, Reggie Bush, and Matt Leinart will be joining Meyer in the studio.
