Done Deal: Nepali club are interested signing Manchester unite keeper Andre onana….

The Ukraine international was under the impression at the start of the season that he would continue to play second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois.

However, a serious knee injury sustained by the undisputed number one led to Real having to move for Chelsea stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga as a temporary alternative.

Although Arrizabalaga initially held down the first-choice spot, Lunin has since emerged as Carlo Ancelotti‘s preference between the sticks.

A total of 28 starts have been made in all competitions, with the 25-year-old keeping as many as 12 clean sheets during that time and conceding just 13 times in 20 La Liga matches.

While it is unclear how Courtois will fare upon his return, the assumption is that he will be provided with an opportunity soon after he is deemed fully recovered from a second knee issue.

That, in turn, leaves Lunin and Real in a tricky position with his contract due to expire at the end of next season, with the goalkeeper now not being short of admirers around Europe.

According to Fic hajes, Lunin is in no rush to commit his future to Los Blancos when it is plausible his game time could become significantly restricted.

Speaking to El Cherington de Juglones, it is explained by journalist Eduardo Inda that several clubs are monitoring the situation ahead of the summer transfer window.

Inda said: “There is a player whose contract ends next year, and the normal thing is that Madrid wants him to continue, but he is thinking of leaving this year or next year as a free agent if he is not a starter.

“He has three offers. One from PSG, but There is [Gianluigi] Donnarumma, another from Manchester United and a third from Bayern Munich. I’m talking about Lunin. He’s a good goalkeeper, he’s showing it.”

As stated, Gianluigi Donnarumma is the established number one at Paris Saint-Germain, while Manchester United realistically have no plans to remove Andre Onana from his position between the sticks.

Of the three, Bayern Munich are most likely to hand Lunin regular minutes. Long-serving Manuel Neuer is now 38 years of age, while backup Daniel Peretz and Sven Ulreich are not viewed as replacements for the future.

Lunin’s current focus is on representing Madrid against Real Sociedad on Friday night, before preparations begin for the Champions League semi-final against Bayern next week.
