According to reports, United is getting ready to make a strong push to capture defender Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich.
The left-sided player’s future has been a major topic of discussion ever since he entered the last 18 months of his contract.
His present club is naturally eager for the Canada international to sign new terms, since he has been a star for the Bundesliga powerhouses since 2019.
However, there is a growing chance that Bayern will lose one of their most valuable assets on a free transfer in July after opting not to make a bid for Davies during the previous summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old has long been admired by Real Madrid, so it would be shocking if they decided not to start formal talks with him at the beginning of the year.
However, if Davies’ current circumstances persist, Man United is reportedly prepared to challenge Los Blancos in the competition for him.
Davies’ involvement in United Up
Sky Sport Deutschland claims that United has’submitted an informal enquiry’ about a possible agreement with Davies’ representatives.
Since Real has not yet done so, it is believed that the Red Devils have gotten ahead of their rivals in an attempt to sign a notable player for the upcoming campaign.
