Rob Edwards thanked Luton Town for the best 18 months of his life after their hopes of Premier League survival suffered a near-fatal blow against West Ham.
The Hatters are three points behind Nottingham Forest in 18th with one game left to play after a 3-1 defeat in David Moyes’ last match in charge at the London Stadium.
However, they will need to overturn a goal difference of 13 to stay up on the final day despite Forest’s 3-2 defeat against Chelsea.

“I said thank you to the players because they, along with the fans and board, have given me the best 18 months of my life.
