Breaking News: Luton Town management has Appointed a New head coach After Rob Edwards resigned as Luton Town manager just minute ago…..

“He must be x amount better than someone who isn’t affiliated with a club if we are required to pay him x amount.”

Luton is looking for a younger candidate, and those being linked to the position include former Watford head coach Rob Edwards, former Blackpool manager Neil Critchley, and former Luton midfielder Stephen Robinson of St Mirren.

“Managers with a lot of experience, a particular style of doing things, and perhaps some life experience are one group we’re probably not looking at. We don’t fit that profile,” Sweet remarked.

“For two or three years, we have been monitoring management. We employ a model that is strikingly similar to how we identify gamers in terms of their media presentation, personal attributes, and style of play.

“We have thorough due diligence profiles available for many individuals. This is not to say that we necessarily expected this to occur. However, it does occur, so why wouldn’t you be ready?

“We’re really happy for Jones.”
Luton enters the match against Rotherham, their final fixture before the World Cup month-long break, sitting ninth in the table but just two points behind sixth-place QPR and three behind fourth-place Norwich.

“We’ve told the players it’s not just about getting through the weekend; it’s about collecting three points and pushing us up the standings,” stated Harford, who joined the team full-time after undergoing prostate cancer treatment in January.

We are incredibly happy of Jones, and his success demonstrates why we’re a great place for managers and coaches to work, build their careers, and get recognition. He wouldn’t be where he is now without Luton Town’s automobile.”

Jones is traveling to Southampton alongside coach Alan Sheehan and assistant manager Chris Cohen.

“We send him away with all our best wishes, and to Chris and Shees, and we hope they are successful,” Harford continued. “He deserves his opportunity.”

In a statement posted externally on Luton’s website, the leaving Jones stated that although he had turned down several offers from other teams, the Southampton offer was too good to pass up.

“I would never be in this position without all of you, and without the support and faith shown in me two and a half years ago,” he continued. “I’d like to thank everyone at the club, from the board to the staff, to the players and the fans.”
