Breaking News: former los angeles rams head coach would not mind returing back next season…

In 2024, Sean McVay plans to rejoin the Rams as head coach.

According to people with knowledge of the matter, McVay plans to return as the Rams coach after taking a few days off to think about his future, as reported by NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo on Friday. Since then, the team has made the announcement.

According to Rapoport and Garafolo, McVay is already considering possible personnel moves in 2023.

The Super Bowl-winning coach, coming off a terrible 5-12 season, was unsure about his status.

McVay stated on Monday, “I believe what I loved to do was be able to take the right time.” “Although you’ve never experienced something similar, you want to make sure you show consideration for those who are impacted. That’s the most crucial thing, and you probably want to be able to continue the constant discussions and exchanges of “Hey, do what you believe is best for you and (McVay’s wife) Veronika (Khomyn”)” that have occurred with the people I love and genuinely care about.

“But it doesn’t mean it lessens my sense of empathy or my sense of obligation to the individuals who will be impacted by my choice going ahead; those are the kinds of things you don’t take lightly. When making a choice, you want to be able to show consideration for the people who may be impacted while still being deliberate about spending the necessary time.”

With his aides in doubt, McVay was under pressure to make a choice quickly.

McVay had the opportunity to land a big TV job after winning the Lombardi Trophy in February of last year, but he decided to stay here and try his luck in Los Angeles. But the Rams’ season was agonizing due to injuries, which included losing top defensive lineman Aaron Donald, quarterback Matthew Stafford, and receiver Cooper Kupp in the final stretch. Since taking over the Rams in 2017, McVay’s team has only missed the playoffs twice; the first time was in 2022, when they failed to end the season with a winning record.

After a difficult season, McVay’s tremendous standards and his legendary work ethic made it understandable that he was burned out.

Even if there aren’t as many prime-time game analyst positions open as there were the previous season, many networks would undoubtedly place a bid to add a brain like McVay to their staff if he were to leave coaching.

It doesn’t seem like that will occur in 2023 at the the current time. Rather, the bright mind is inclined to come back and take L.A. on a tour of redemption.
