Breaking News: Leicester city head coach Enzo Maraca has been Banned from coaching after slapping the Leicester city CEO due to……..

Leicester City has made a significant move in appointing Enzo Maresca as their manager, signing him on a contract that extends to 2026. Maresca, formerly a first-team coach at Manchester City, brings a wealth of coaching experience to Leicester as they aim to regain their Premier League status.

The 43-year-old Italian, who started his playing career at West Brom, was selected over other candidates, including Dean Smith and Steven Gerrard. Maresca’s coaching pedigree is highly regarded, despite having only one previous spell as a head coach with Parma, which lasted 14 matches and occurred when the club had just been relegated to the second tier.

Maresca’s journey to Leicester saw him work as an assistant at various clubs, including Ascoli, Sevilla, and West Ham under Manuel Pellegrini, before joining Manchester City to manage their elite development squad. He returned to Manchester City last June after his stint at Parma.

In his statement following the appointment, Maresca expressed his commitment to Leicester’s cause, emphasizing the importance of giving 100% effort and gradually building their playing philosophy to achieve success.

Leicester’s chairman, Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, praised Maresca’s personality, method, and ambition, highlighting how well his profile aligns with the footballing direction the club aims to pursue. With the departure of several key players at the end of their contracts and the potential exits of James Maddison and Harvey Barnes, Leicester faces a period of rebuilding. However, with Maresca at the helm, there’s optimism that the club can reset its course and strive for future success.
