IRONMAN has unveiled the first episode of ‘Beyond Finish Lines’, a new six-part docuseries that features three-time IRONMAN World Champion, two-time IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion, and Olympic Gold Medalist Jan Frodeno.

A release from IRONMAN noted that… ‘Blending endurance sport with storytelling and soul-searching, the series invites viewers on a journey through the defining moments of the German’s legendary career – told not through highlight reels, but through shared miles and meaningful conversations with those who embody the spirit of triathlon – age-group triathletes.’

Each episode will be available to watch for free exclusively on the IRONMAN YouTube channel.

In each episode, Frodeno meets with an amateur triathlete whose personal journey echoes a pivotal theme from his own path. Together, they head out for a ride or run, swapping stories, pushing the pace, and ending up at a local café for a deeper conversation over coffee.

According to IRONMAN… ‘It’s raw, real, and refreshingly unscripted – offering a rare glimpse into the emotional and mental layers of endurance sport.’

The series kicks off with Episode 1: Finding Your Best Self, featuring global culinary icon and multiple IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 finisher, Gordon Ramsay.

Filmed in Remich, Luxembourg, coinciding with Ramsay’s participation in the IRONMAN 70.3 Luxembourg triathlon, the episode… ‘explores what it means to reach peak personal performance – on the road, in the kitchen, and in life.’

Ramsay and Frodeno reflect on the sacrifices, discipline, and mindset required to perform. After opening his 95th restaurant, Ramsay also speaks about the pivotal role IRONMAN races play as an outlet – a way to decompress, reclaim personal time, and gain clarity amid the demands of work.

“Beyond Finish Lines is about more than racing,” said Jan Frodeno. “It’s about the moments that shape us – the setbacks, the breakthroughs, and the experiences that inspire us to keep moving forward. I’ve learned so much from the age-group athletes who live this sport with pure passion, and I’m excited to share their stories.”

Julia Polloreno, Vice President, Content for The IRONMAN Group, addsed “Beyond Finish Lines offers a fresh and intimate perspective on the sport of triathlon, spotlighting the emotion, resilience, and transformation that connects every athlete.
