If you’re genuine supporters you wouldn’t just scroll past without sending well wishes to top player Kieffer Moore who has….

After Kieffer Moore scored his fifth goal for the team and Brendan Galloway gave the Blues a 2-0 victory over Plymouth at Home Park, Town moved back up to second place in the Championship. Following a sloppy but fiercely contested first half, Town improved their play in the second half. In the sixty-third minute, Galloway deflected a Conor Chaplin strike past his own goalkeeper. Eleven minutes later, Moore completed the comeback, giving Town their fifth consecutive Championship victory since October 2003.

The lineup that defeated Birmingham 3-0 the previous week was forced into three changes by manager Kieran McKenna, who also had to substitute Massimo Luongo for Nathan Broadhead and Wes Burns.

Luongo was sick, and Burns (calf) and Broadhead (thigh) took hits versus the Midlanders.

The Australian international was replaced in central midfield by Lewis Travis, who was joined on the right by Omari Hutchinson and on the left by Jeremy Sarmiento. Conor Chaplin suffered a gash to his leg last week, but he was fine to start.

Axel Taunzie maintained his position at right-back elsewhere, with Jack Taylor, who had returned from a quad injury, and Harry Clarke, who was celebrating his 23rd birthday, on the bench. Plymouth didn’t change from last weekend’s 2-0 triumph against Middlesbrough.

Tanzeem won the ball on the right and fed Chaplin, who turned away from his man in the area and briefly looked to be in space before he was dispossessed. Town started the game on the front foot in the very wet conditions with the rain continuing to fall heavily and encouraged by the news that Leeds had drawn 1-1 at Huddersfield in the lunchtime kickoff.

But in the fifth minute, Vaclav Hladky made a great save to deny Morgan Whittaker’s dangerous curling cross-shot from the right that was on goal, forcing the first save of the match for the Pilgrims.

Darko Gyebi found himself in possession of the loose ball and attempted a shot from the edge of the box, but it narrowly missed.

Argyle persisted in applying pressure, as Hladky emerged from his goal to the Town left. After being outmuscled by Ryan Hardie to the ball, the striker was eventually taken out with Taunzie’s help. To the joy of the home crowd, the Czech goalie then gave away a corner when he passed straight out of play.
