Ipswich Town signed Ali Al-Hamadi from AFC Wimbledon.
The 21-year-old, who has scored 17 goals in 29 games for the Dons this season, has agreed to a four-and-a-half-year contract at Portman Road.
It’s believed that a little over £1 million was paid up front for his signing, though there may be further costs involved that would significantly increase the deal’s total value.
Al-Hamadi, who has 12 caps for his country, will reunite with the team later this week. He was away at the Asian Cup with Iraq, where they were eliminated by Jordan yesterday.
