Ipswich Town keeper Vaclav Hladky made a crucial difference for the Blues in their draw with league leaders Leicester City yesterday night, according to legendary manager Neil Warnock.
The Czech goalkeeper kept the Blues in the match with a string of outstanding stops, and Town’s late equalizer came from Mads Hermansen’s parry of Massimo Luongo’s effort into the path of Jeremy Sarmiento.

“The goalie was unbelievable tonight, and that’s what made the difference for me,” veteran Warnock said on Sky Sports. “I thought he was great, but I can’t reveal his name.
“The other boy makes a mistake, and I’m afraid as a goalie you don’t get two chances, so that’s the difference. We were right behind two of them, and they were unquestionably in the top corner.

Warnock continued by talking about Town’s attempts to buy a striker during this transfer window and expressed his respect for rookie manager Kieran McKenna.
Warnock said, “(Nathan) Broadhead did well when he came on.” “It might be challenging at times, as when you sign someone, everything gets ruined, including the locker room and other areas.

“I was really happy with how they changed things in the second half.”

“He’s chasing one of Kieffer Moore or Sam Gallagher—I tried to sign Sam a few years ago, but we couldn’t afford him,” Warnock continued.
