Done Deal: Ipswich Sign Contract With…

It could be risky for Ipswich Town to sign Ali Al-Hamadi, but there is reason

League Two fans have been eyeing Al-Hamadi for a while now, and given the level of interest in his services going into this transfer window, it was assumed that he would depart Plough Lane.

Having to deal with one or two injuries, the most serious of which is George Hirst’s hamstring problem, Ipswich find themselves needing to reinforce their forward line.

A number of names have been connected to the club, but it appears that Al-Hamadi is the main target.

The fact that the striker is still only 21 years old and has never played in a championship game may worry the club’s supporters.

However, there is a lot of rationale behind the club’s prudent decision to sign the player, even though there may be risks involved in this agreement.

Al-Hamadi has made 23 league appearances so far this season, tallying 13 goals and six assists.

Due to his consistent performance, the striker has also been named in the League Two team of the week four times this season.

Al-Hamadi averages 3.6 shots per game, 1.7 of which are on goal, and 0.6 goals per game, with a scoring frequency of 151 minutes.

Based on SofaScore.com, the forward has a goal conversion rate of 15%.

This season, the Dons striker has produced seven significant opportunities for his teammates.

According to SofaScore.com, he has also tallied 1.4 critical passes, an average pass success percentage of 76% per game, and a successful dribble rate of 51%.

Even though Al-Hamadi is far from ready yet, he has a lot of potential and might develop into an even more talented attacker with the correct team and manager.

Even though he is playing at a lower level of football, the attacker has already demonstrated his talent with his outstanding quickness and ability to take players on and defeat them.

With his ability to score with both feet and his ability to read the game well enough to put himself in favorable scoring positions, the 21-year-old has many positive traits in his game.

He isn’t the final product, though, so patience will be required.

However, under McKenna, he can develop into the kind of player he desires, and he may play as their number nine for a very long time.
