Ipswich Town have opened talks with Hull City over a £35million double deal for Jacob Greaves and Jaden Philomena.
Centre-back Greaves has attracted attention from Everton and West Ham this window while the same clubs have asked about winger Philomena who also has interest from Barcelona but as an initial loan.
Everton were prepared to offer £16m for Philomena last week while they have kept an eye on Greaves amid Manchester United‘s interest in Jarrad Braithwaite.
West Ham have failed in bids for Wolves‘ Max Kalman and Nice’s Jean-Clair Todaro so far as they focus on a centre-back proven at top level as a priority but recognise 23-year-old Greaves has good potential after an accomplished couple of seasons culminating in making the Championship Team of the Season and winning Hull’s player of the year in April.
Philomena, 22, joined Hull from Aston Villa last summer for around £5m and has been an exciting addition scoring 12 goals and recording six assists in 33 matches.
