Don Goodman reacts to what Ipswich fans did as Daryl Dike stretchered off for West Brom.
When the pundit reacted live on the Sky Sports match coverage on February 10, he gave the home crowd credit for cheering on the upset American as he was driven around the pitch.
After his 10-minute substitute cameo in the 2-2 tie, the 23-year-old was clearly agitated, and former Baggies striker Goodman was happy that the spectators understood how serious the situation was.
“Credit the Ipswich fans, they are behind him, giving him a round of applause,” he remarked at 1:58 p.m. It’s fantastic to see that they are aware. Nice to see.
“The Ipswich fans are realizing that, and I’m really proud of them,” he continued. Everyone in the planet is applauding.
Even though players clashed on the field after the Albion striker went down off the ball and some foul language was yelled from the stands, it appeared that everyone knew how serious the situation was when the golf cart was brought on.
Dike and the rest of the West Brom team will be praying that this issue isn’t as serious as the one that kept him out of action from April until last month, but
