such a painful depart Huddersfield town head coach just announce his departure due to…..

Andre Breitenreiter, a former manager of FC Zurich and Schalke, has been named the new head coach of Huddersfield Town.

The 50-year-old German replaces Darren Moore, who was fired at the end of January, and has agreed to a two-and-a-half-year contract.

In the 2021–2022 season, Breitenreiter and Zurich won the Swiss league championship.

In the past, he had led Hannover and Paderborn, two German teams, to Bundesliga promotion.

After less than a year in command, Breitenreiter left Hoffenheim in February 2023, and he will take up his first position in England on Monday.

The Terriers, who are five points above the relegation zone and in 20th place in the Championship, will visit Hull City on Saturday under the direction of interim manager Jon Worthington.

“We were very clear at the beginning of this process about what we expect our head coach to deliver,” stated Kevin Nagle, the owner of Huddersfield.

“The development of a winning culture, where taking risks to try to win every game—before or during the game—without fear, ranked highest on the list.

“We also want to play a high-tempo, front-foot, all-action style of football that will thrill our fans.”

Andre is the best person, in our opinion, to provide this. His winning record is clearly visible to all, and after talking with him, I was struck by how knowledgeable he was. I’m eager to observe how he affects our gifted team.”
