wow premier league just selected fulham as the top football……

Fulham appears to have all the necessary components to rise to the top division and join “the big six.” Fulham is the oldest club in London, it’s in one of the wealthiest neighborhoods, and it even has an American connection, which has historically helped many EPL clubs financially (American ownership, two American players currently on the team, and American legends have played for the team).

To begin with, Newcastle, with their limitless resources, will most likely defeat us 7 to 7. Unless you have crazy owners, I don’t think it’s really possible to break into the big 6. We have also never taken home a big award. We would need to have an incredible season, somehow hope that our top players don’t take advantage of us, and continuously build on this incredible season in order for us to join the big six (which, given our modest resources in comparison to the other major six, would be special).

It’s absurd to consider what would need to occur in order for us to join the Big 6 without a significant takeover. We may become known as a reliable pl side, but not the big six. However, I fail to see how Fulham cannot establish a reputation that would enable it to become a profitable team. The oldest club in London, with a stadium situated in one of the city’s most affluent suburbs and overlooking the Thames. With the possible exception of Chelsea, we have far more going for us than any other London club.
Long-term infrastructure and investment may be enough, but a crucial component—a fan base—is still absent. Even if we are the oldest club in London, we would be lucky to rank seventh among clubs in the city in terms of support, not counting the fans who are from abroad and transplants. A significant financial infusion would have allowed Newcastle and Manchester City to compete to reduce ffp. We are far from reaching that degree. By the way, have fun on the ride In the 1990s, Fulham was a non-league football team that may rise to prominence if purchased by national leaders, who has the financial means to do it.
