Fulham boss Silva admits ‘big disappointment’ for Wolves defeat.
Following the loss at Wolves, Fulham manager Marco Silva expressed his dissatisfaction.
Before Alex Iwobi scored in injury time, Wolves had led 2-0 thanks to goals from Tom Cairney and Rayan Aït-Nouri.
Silva subsequently remarked, “We must be annoyed. We are really disappointed.
“The truth is that we did create enough opportunities to win this game. In the first part, it was just you and a few obvious ones with chances.
“In the second half, we got off to a really poor start. We gave them the opportunity to press us, but not with the intensity we desire. The goals resulted from us giving them the ball in places we shouldn’t have.
“We responded well, and we had several solid opportunities to regain the lead. Although we produced far more than they did, the truth is that we made a few blunders that caused us to lose the game.
“They made no changes. Our build-up caused us to lose three or four balls in five minutes, not the opposition pressing us. They were able to capitalize on the momentum that gave them.
“Jose Sa made some excellent saves, but with the opportunities we had, you would think the ball would go in the net. At this point, we need to be clinical and brutal; we weren’t, and our errors cost us dearly.
