Breaking News:Eric Mangini shared his perspective…

Eric Mangini shared his perspective on Robert Saleh’s firing after the New York Jets’ disappointing start to the 2024 season.  Entering the season with high expectations, the Jets boasted one of the league’s best defenses and had Aaron Rodgers leading the offense. Despite some strong performances from Rodgers, the team struggled to a 2-3 record.

After a loss to the Minnesota Vikings, Saleh became the scapegoat and was fired. Many have speculated on the reasons behind his dismissal, including Mangini, who discussed the situation on FOX Sports Radio. He suggested that Jets owner Woody Johnson, frustrated by the team’s underperformance compared to preseason expectations, made an impulsive decision to make a change. According to Mangini, Johnson lost patience with Saleh, which led to his early dismissal.

Despite the firing, Saleh was initially well-regarded, and Aaron Rodgers has expressed that he and Saleh had a strong relationship, contrary to media portrayals.
