Sad news: Everton management in two-words response regarding the interview with…..

Everton: Andy Burnham laughs as he sends two-word reply about Carragher & Neville interview.

An interview conducted late last year with the mayor of Greater Manchester and an Everton season ticket holder was taken down by the broadcaster.

Burnham responded with two words when asked on Twitter [20 February] why he hasn’t yet spoken with Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville on television.

“How can the @premierleague justify what they are doing to Everton Football Club?” Burnham continued.

We are still in the dark about what is going on, and another week is passing. We are being killed by them.

“Given the uncertainty they have created, I feel as a season ticket holder that the @premierleague have ruined this season for us and all clubs.”

“And now, when we ought to be commemorating the final era of English football greatness, they are enveloping Goodison in protest.” Not pardonable.

The fact that Burnham expressed his disapproval of the Premier League in an interview with Sky Sports last year is particularly telling.

They were afraid of the consequences if they upset their greatest cash cow, the TV broadcaster, because of the league’s tight links to them. What aggravates Everton supporters so much is that.

Recall that shortly after the points punishment judgment, Sky Sports also chose not to air footage of a protest banner that sailed above the Etihad Stadium during a match between Manchester City and Liverpool.

You can attempt to silence Everton supporters all you want, but fortunately, prominent people like Burnham are prepared to keep pounding the drum.

It is hoped that enough pressure has been applied to reverse the deduction at some point this week. Supporters should be commended greatly for their unwavering stance on the issue.
