Everton move into picture for signing – Toffees rivalling West Ham for €10m+ transfer.
West Ham United expressed interest in signing Filip Kostić near the close of the summer transfer season, but they ran out of time to finalize a deal. Everton has joined the Hammers in their pursuit of the Juventus player, putting them back in the running.
That’s according to Tutto Juve, who bring up Everton and West Ham in their conversation over the 31-year-old’s future.
With just three league games missed thus far this season, the left wing-back has been a consistent member of the Serie A team. The Turin club may let him go in the upcoming window, but his current contract expires in 2026.
The Serbian international is not drawn to go to the Middle East, despite interest. He’s interested in seeing how many players relocate to Saudi Arabia and what transpires during the summer.
According to Tutto Juventus, the player would rather play in the Premier League than in Saudi Arabia.
West Ham and Everton are reportedly interested in signing Kostić, although Juventus “will only accept offers” ranging from €10 million to €15 million. It’s unclear if the Premier League pair will comply with the Old Lady’s request.
