Everton have staved off interest from multiple clubs to secure Loney’s signature. The youngster will initially be a part of the academy set-up, and he will become the first signing for the Toffees in the summer window.

It is equally essential to add quality players to the club’s academy, and Loney definitely looks like a cracking prospect. At such a tender age, he has already made one appearance for Partick Thistle in their 4-1 defeat to Dundee United last month.
It makes sense that the Toffees give him ample time to grow at the club. He is likely to be registered for the club’s academy and then can rise through the ranks.
Northern Ireland Under-18 striker Braiden Graham will also join the Toffees this summer which will be another big boost for the club’s academy.
