As the World Darts Championship reached its climax on Wednesday, 16-year-old Luke Littler took on world number three Luke Humphries to battle it out for a £500,000 prize.
Littler has been the breakout star of the tournament after becoming the youngest ever player to reach the final, and he has wowed fans at every stage by beating established players, including some of his heroes.
But while all eyes were on Littler as he fell at the final hurdle against Luke Humphries in the final of the tournament, what of the women behind the successful players on the brink of glory?
Littler, from Warrington, and Humphries, from Newbury but now based in Crewe, took centre stage at Alexandra Palace this afternoon where the eyes of the venue – and the nation – were be upon them.
And as they went head-to-head, each was be cheered on by their supportive partners who have been with them since the beginning of the tournament – Eloise Milburn and Kayley Jones.

A darts player herself, who represents the Surrey Women’s darts team, it’s no wonder Eloise Milburn has been pictured watching Luke ‘the Nuke’ Littler’s nail-biting matches throughout the tournament with immeasurable concentration on her face.
Surrey-based Eloise has been keeping a low profile while supporting her boyfriend along with his family at the championships, although she has been spotted with him at recent football matches. She is set to be there again at his semi-final clash tonight against former world champion, Rob Cross.
It emerged yesterday that the romance between Eloise and Littler is just six-weeks old, after the pair met while playing FIFA on Xbox.
