Following Fenerbahce’s 3-2 victory over Trabzonspor, Michy Barshay attempted to kick one supporter, and former QPR winger Bright Osaki-Samuel punched another, causing chaos at Papara Park.

The former forward for Chelsea and Crystal Palace tried to spin back as a supporter tried to barge into the pitch. Following a late goal by the Belgian, Badshahi’s team won on the road, and the home crowd gathered on the field.

The stars of Fenerbahce had gathered in the middle of the field to celebrate their victory when a lone Trabzonspor fan approached the field to provoke them. Security tackled the lone mask-wearing supporter. That did not, however, stop a struggle with Osei-Samuel.

The former Championship ace pursued the intruder, hit him, and then climbed to the top of the fan to escape capture. Osaki-Samuel had escaped from his colleagues’ grasp.

As stewards originally pursued the person, fans poured onto the field, flooding the grass with intruders. There were moments of fighting on both sides of the ground.

One staff member motioned for Badshahi to leave the field due to the chaos of bodies all over it, but as he departed, the Belgian striker tried to stop a fan who was making his way towards the dugouts. The invader was only halted in his tracks by security after the 30-year-old delivered a glancing punch.

Osayi-Samuel, 26, began his career with Blackpool and later joined Fenerbahce from QPR in 2021. For the Turkish team, the Nigerian international has made 126 appearances.
