very sad news: crystal head coach Oliver Glasner have unwelcomed and rejected Joel ward offer due to….

It is easy to assume that liver Glasner has heard a lot from Crystal Palace that he likes because he is an ambitious player, and issues can arise when a club does not match his ambitions. Despite the club’s success, the Austrian left Wolfsburg in May 2021 because he believed it would be impossible to move forward with the level of investment made at the time. He left Eintracht Frankfurt for a similar reason the previous summer. He will now take Roy Hodgson’s place at Selhurst Park.

Wolfsburg had just secured a spot in the Champions League when Jörg Schmadtke, the sporting director, resigned due to a falling out. He won the Europa League with Eintracht, his second employer. His goal has been to relocate to England, where transfer budgets are more generous, during this season of unemployment. After discussing openings with Ajax, Marseille, and Lyon, Glasner was convinced to go for a chance in the Premier League by his coach, Ralf Rangnick.

Working with Glasner, some believe Palace, who made their initial inquiry about him last year, has pulled off a coup. During an interview when serving as Ajax’s director of football, Sven Militant expressed his admiration for Glasner, but he was unable to persuade him to move to the Eredivisie.

To give Glasner what he wants, Dougie Freedman, the sporting director at Palace, will have to collaborate closely with him. The Scot is seen to be less sensitive to the head coach’s influence than other players Glasner has had experience with. Palace hasn’t always made bold purchases in the market; instead, they’ve frequently placed an emphasis on both established players and recent Championship additions, which has paid off. Over the last ten years, they have placed between 10th and 15th, although they haven’t yet established this consistency.

George Syrianos, a board adviser, felt that Glasner’s style would be an ideal fit for the team and recommended him to Nottingham Forest as Steve Cooper’s replacement. Despite having a verbal agreement, Forest decided to employ Nuno Espírito Santo. The fact that Glasner desired a seat at the table when decisions about transfers were made created a possible point of contention with the Forest arrangement. Glasner prefers to play 3-4-2-1, and his motivation for making transfers is to get players who are ideal for each position.

Although he played more than 500 games for SV Ried, he never received an international cap before suffering a brain hemorrhage that ended his career. He may not have been able to settle for second best because he did not do well and his playing career was cut short.

Glasner has had a great rapport with his players all through his managing tenure. His charges respect him and view him as an honest instructor. When speaking with athletes, no punches are pulled and the goal is to offer guidance that will assist the player or team get better. Keen to avoid making every aspect of a game predetermined, Glasner provides his players freedom of thinking and places a great deal of trust in them.

Glasner’s tenure with Red Bull is credited with developing his on-pitch vision. He was Roger Schmidt’s assistant coach at Salzburg for two years before he was hired to manage Bayer Leverkusen, PSV, and Benfica. Glasner emphasizes formation, but when it comes to understanding the high press and counterpress, he bases his method more on player behavior.
