Lance – who was stripped of all seven of his Tour de France titles in 2012 and banned from cycling for life after being found guilty of doping – also has three children, Luke (22) and twin daughters Grace and Isabelle (20), with ex-wife Kristin Richard.
The kids served as their bridesmaids and groomsmen, which prompted Lance to write, “So special having our kids there as well. It was an evening full of laughter and plenty of joyful tears.”
For Lance, a survivor of testicular cancer, it was a dream come true. “It was an evening full of laughter and plenty of joyful tears,” he continued. “Anna, you have been my absolute rock the past 14 years and let me be clear, I would not have survived them without you.”
He acknowledged the “hard work” that went.I am so proud of the couple we have become – it took us doing the work, the really hard work, and I am so glad that we did. I love you immensely and will always be here for you and our family.”
Anna, who is also the founder of Move with Anna, a virtual yoga programme, shared a peek at the post-wedding festivities on her Instagram Stories. One photo included a cup of cappuccino with foam that read: “Anna & Lance”. In her posting she described it as the “perfect elopement”. No
