It is with a heavy heart that crystal palace key player has disclosed his decision to depart in football after losing his daughter and wife……

Crystal Palace captain Luka Milojevic has reflected on the challenging start to the season, both professionally and personally, with the Eagles.

The 30-year-old has been restricted to just 10 appearances under manager Patrick Vieira this season. He missed the initial three games of the campaign due to the passing of his father over the summer. Additionally, injuries have further limited his playing time, with his recent start against West Ham on New Year’s Day marking his first appearance since November.

Milojevic spoke to Premier League Productions ahead of Palace’s upcoming away fixture against Brighton on Friday, describing the season as “very strange” for him. He highlighted the difficulties of missing pre-season and coping with the loss of his father at the beginning of the campaign, creating a challenging and unfamiliar situation.

Despite the setbacks, Milojevic emphasized his commitment to being in the best possible condition for the team. He acknowledged the manager’s decisions in favor of other players but asserted his dedication to supporting the team, especially as captain, during tough times. He stressed the importance of setting a positive example for his teammates, knowing that others may face similar challenges in the future.

Before joining Crystal Palace in 2016, Milojevic had won league titles in Belgium with Anderlecht and in Greece with Olympiacos. He has since become a significant figure at Palace, making 167 appearances and scoring 28 goals over nearly six years, with notable achievements including reaching double figures in league goals during his initial two full seasons with the club.
