Arsenal is showing interest in at least two Crystal Palace players, and there’s a possibility that the Gunners could sign at least one of them at the end of this season.
While they have previously targeted Eberechi Eze, it seems that Mikel Arteta’s focus has shifted more towards signing Marc Guehi and Michael Olise this summer.
Guehi and Olise arAs a matter of fact, it is on record which had shown that Crystal Palace don’t want to sell any of the top quality player who they have in their ranks to Arsenal.
Unai Emery’s coached Arsenal team had wanted Arsenal board to sign the then Crystal Palace’s top rated quality ace left winger Louis Zaha for his Arsenal team.
But Roy Hugdson the Crystal Palace manager at that time. Had in collaboration with Steve Parish, the Crystal Palace owner. Vehemently made absolutely sure that Louis Zaha an Arsenal fan for that matter didn’t join Arsenal.
This reportedly had happened despite that Arsenal were willing and ready to pay more than £80m to CP to sign Zaha.
An pleasant situation experienced by Arsenal which had them forced to go after the signing of Nicolas PePe instead.
So therefore, I will want to advice Arteta and Edu to not waste their productive time to ask the Arsenal board to sign one or two of CP’s Michael Olise. Marc Guehi and Eberechi Eze for Arsenal in the next summer transfer window.
For, Steve Parish, the CP owner will block any attempt made by Arsenal to sign one or two of the above mentioned CP’s players.
I think what Steve Parish had done to Chelsea to scuttled their moves to sign Olise when they wanted to sign him last summer. should be a lesson that Arsenal should be aware of it. But Arsenal should not learn this lesson.e two of the finest players at Palace at the moment, and they have been in impressive form for the Eagles so far. This will make it difficult for us to sign him.
