Breaking News: Crystal palace CEO John Textor have just sack Oliver Glasner just minute ago due to……

Crystal Palace look set to split with Roy Hodgson as talks over a new manager begin just days after a 3-1 loss at home to Chelsea. The result leaves the Eagles 15th in the Premier League and just five points above the drop zone.

Palace have now won just twice in their last 15 matches, including losses in four of the last five. As Luton show signs of life at the bottom and Everton face the prospect of getting some points back from their appeal for breaching profitability and sustainability rules, Palace are right in the mix at the bottom.

Hodgson, who was appointed just over 12 months ago to get them out of a relegation mess, has come under increasing pressure within that environment and is now expected to depart. Palace have, according to reports, already held positive talks with former Frankfurt boss Oliver Glasner over taking on the role.

Palace sacked Patrick Vieira this time last year after a string of poor results, and they are now working without a host of their best players through injury. It couldn’t have come at a worse time for Hodgson, though fans will point to his lack of ambition in his second spell in charge as a reason to cut his contract short.

will have the latest on Hodgson and Palace’s possible new manager search, right here! Don’t go anywhere, it could be a busy one.
