History of Browns Top player…..

Cleveland Browns Draft Prospect: Defensive tackle Braden Fiske.

In 2023, Braden Fiske, a 6-5, 297-pound defensive lineman, earned nine tackles and three sacks while helping the Florida State Seminoles win their 16th ACC championship. After attending Western Michigan for five seasons as a three-star recruit out of Indiana High School, Fiske transferred to Florida State for his last year of eligibility.

Fiske finished 42 games with 148 tackles, 13.5 sacks, three passes defensed, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries while playing for Western Michigan. After a 12-game, 59-yard, and six-sack season in which the Broncos finished 5-7 and missed the bowl, Fiske was named to the second team of the MAC in 2022.

Fiske was the second-ranked defensive lineman and the 20th-ranked player when he first entered the transfer portal at the end of the 2022 campaign. Fiske concluded that Florida State would provide the ideal setting to assist in advancing the Indiana defensive linemen to the next level. In his first and last season in Tallahassee, Fiske recorded 43 tackles and six sacks in 13 games, earning a spot on the second team of the ACC.

Fiske’s highlighted advantages, per Sports Illustrated:
strong upper-body thickness overall
competent athlete
Notable flaws in Fiske:
He’s a little too small for an IDL.
Arms appear to be short.

Fiske’s stature and age have been cited by several evaluators as issues of concern, but his strength, footwork, and quick hands make him an ideal fit for the Browns defense.
