Zac Taylor’s wife Sarah Sherman has received a letter of divorce.
The Cincinnati Bengals have a new NFL head coach in Zac Taylor, who has made the team a contender every season. Taylor has been searching for a chance to coach a team for the past 14 years by visiting different leagues and collegiate campuses. He worked in a variety of environments until the Bengals offered him a chance in 2019, which has contributed to his $4 million net worth. But we’re focusing on Sarah Sherman, Zac Taylor’s wife, in this piece.
Actually, Sarah Sherman shares her husband’s passion for football. Mike Sherman, a former coach of the Green Bay Packers and Zac’s teammate, is her father.
Remarkably, the two became acquainted in 2006 while they were both students at the University of Nebraska. Despite just being at his third college—he had attended Wake Forest and Butler for a year each—Taylor was the standout quarterback. Sherman was a graduate assistant for the sports information department and was pursuing a master’s degree in marketing.
I still recall my initial impression of her. We were working out on Nebraska’s soccer pitch. There was a girl in a yellow outfit when practice concluded. As I saw her more frequently, I began to believe that perhaps I had a chance.
In an interview with Modern Luxury, the couple revealed a great deal about their personal lives and how they got together. Sarah thought Zac was “a hottie” as soon as he saw him, and he didn’t immediately think he had a chance.
He also said in the interview that even though he was the collegiate team’s primary quarterback, he initially did not have much of a chance.
Nevertheless, Zac was obviously drawn to the place, and the two stayed together even when he left Nebraska to play professional football. When Zac was ready to pop the question two years after their first meeting, he contacted her father, who was then employed by the Houston Texans, in an attempt to do it the traditional way. Acknowledging the situation, Sherman chose to give the aspiring coach and young quarterback a two-hour tour of the Texan facilities, only to keep him asking questions.
The former Packers coach obviously gave the couple permission after the tour, and they were married a few months later. They talked about their fascinating engagement tale in the Modern Luxury interview that they did. It seems that Zac was eager to reach the 12th hole, where he had hidden the ring, while he and Sarah were playing mini golf. What he said was this:
