LaVine expecting NBA return at start of next season after meeting the Bulls before Clippers defeat.
Zach LaVine, the star of the Chicago Bulls, is hoping to recover from his season-ending right foot injury in time for the start of the upcoming NBA season.
Due to an ankle sprain, LaVine has not played since mid-January. He decided to have surgery, and by the time he returns to the floor, he will have missed four to six months.
Before Saturday’s 112-102 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, who overcame a 14-point deficit to win, the Bulls player traveled to Los Angeles with his teammates.
Speaking about his personal decision to have surgery, LaVine emphasized that it was the best course of action for him to continue improving in his recovery.
He said, “You never want to have surgery.” “But I got to a conclusion, especially with what the doctor was telling me, your pain level, this thing isn’t going to heal on its own.”
LaVine has no problems reintegrating into the Chicago group after getting together with his Bulls colleagues prior to the Clippers loss.
He responded to the question of how to reintegrate into the squad with, “Same way it always has been.” “It’s not hard to fit back in, especially with the way I play the game and want to go out there and help.”
Due to knee problems, Lonzo Ball has not played since January 2022. He is undergoing rehabilitation in Los Angeles.
