SAD NEWS: Burnley might Face Point Deduction Due To….

Burnley face points deduction weeks after promotion to EPL

In front of a crucial match against Crystal Palace on Saturday, Vincent Kompany’s team is still seven points outside of safety.

Even though Palace earned a valuable point against Everton on Monday, they are just one of several teams that may be involved in the relegation struggle.
In their battle against the drop, the Clarets need to win in order to have any hope of mounting a plausible comeback.

However, Brownhill said he and his colleagues would not give up even if there is still a chance.

He said to Clarets+, “We’ve definitely proven this year that it’s the best league in the world.”

It’s been a very difficult season. But we still have hope; we’re not out of the grave. There is no better time to make amends with the next game that comes our way than now, since we have a nice run of games coming up.

“Hopefully we can run together. There are advantages there for us, even though it’s probably difficult for others to look at it and believe we can be optimistic. There is still trust in that.

“We’ll think about it; we know it wasn’t good enough, but we’ll move on to the next one and put it behind us.”

Burnley enters the Palace match fresh off of Arsenal’s humiliating 5-0 whipping of them the previous week.
Considering that all parties concerned acknowledge that the performance was far from satisfactory, Brownhill is now expecting an answer from his team.

The 28-year-old continued, “We just need to review the Arsenal game and the things we can do better and work on that this week.””Yes, we have a fantastic opportunity to perform at Palace, but this is the Premier League.” In this division, results are unachievable.

It won’t be simple at all because they have several excellent players and are a strong squad, especially at home.

“We need to have a big week, rebuild our self-esteem, and then perform live.”
