Breaking News:Supporters of Coventry City will be hoping that…..

Coventry City supporters will be praying Burnley, Southampton, and Leicester City wait until the summer. View.

Coventry City has had a fantastic few months in the championship.

The Sky Blues had a poor start to the season and dropped as low as 20th in the standings in late November after losing to Luton Town in the play-off final last year on penalties.

But since then, Coventry’s form has much improved, and on Friday night, they played Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough in the FA Cup fourth round and drew 1-1 to extend their unbeaten streak to 11 games across all categories.

Prior to their Tuesday night matchup against Bristol City at the CBS Arena, Mark Robins’ team is now sixth in the table. In recent weeks, they have been real contenders for promotion.

Victor Torp, a midfielder from Sarpsborg, is the only new player the Sky Blues have added during this quiet January transfer window.

Although Robins is eager to bolster his team before the transfer window closes, he will mostly concentrate on holding onto midfield player Callum O’Hare, who is drawing interest from La Liga teams, Burnley, Southampton, Leicester City, and Tom Collomosse of the Daily Mail.

According to Collomosse, O’Hare’s suitors are more likely to move in the summer than they are in January, so Coventry will be praying fervently that they don’t get any bids in the next few days.

Callum O’Hare cannot be sold by Coventry City this month.
O’Hare has been a standout player for the Sky Blues since his injury, having missed a significant amount of time due to a knee injury. In 16 games across all competitions, he has scored six goals and provided one assist.

The 25-year-old, who filled the void left by the summertime exits of Viktor Gyokeres and Gustavo Hamer, has been instrumental in Coventry’s recent run of good play.

But O’Hare’s contract is slated to expire at the end of the current campaign, and as he hasn’t signed a contract extension, Coventry may lose him if a team makes an offer.

Although Robins acknowledged that O’Hare had received a new contract offer, he acknowledged that he had no control on the midfielder’s destiny.

“Look, everyone is aware that Callum isn’t under contract, and there has been a lot of conjecture about him. Until he makes a public announcement, this speculation will persist. In actuality, though, he has received an offer for a contract—and a pretty nice one at that. That’s all I have to say about it; in the end, he is free to decide what’s best for his future,” Robins told Coventry Live.

O’Hare is happy at Coventry, and his standout recent performances don’t seem to indicate that he’s ready to go, but if a sizable offer were to come in before the transfer window closed, both the team and the player would have to make a major choice.
