Breaking News: Michael Harris quarterback of atlanta braves just announced his departure due to…….

Michael Harris of the Atlanta Braves just declared his retirement.

Michael Harris was given the opportunity to respond to some questions when he was in centerfield during the Sunday Night Baseball broadcast of the Braves’ heartbreaking 7-6 defeat to the pitiful Mets. He was asked who his favorite player was in high school, and he responded with a remark that seemed almost too amazing to be true.

Less than an hour away from Truist Park, at Stockbridge High School, Harris was selected in the third round of the 2019 MLB Draft. He was a lifelong Braves supporter and, like most of us, was enamored with Ronald Acuña Jr.’s extraordinary potential very soon.

Despite playing in just 112 games, Acuña, who was 20 years old when he made his Major League Baseball debut in 2018, easily won the NL Rookie of the Year title and placed 12th in the NL MVP race. The season after, the one in which Harris was selected, Acuña blasted 41 home runs and was only three thefts away from being a member of the exclusive 40/40 club.

Harris would play in the outfield beside his favorite baseball player three years later. It so happened that he was the ninth Braves player to win the NL Rookie of the Year title in the same season.

“Your favorite player’s favorite player is Ronald Acuña Jr.” is something Alex says all the time. Though they are only three years apart in age, there are plenty of youngsters playing Michael Harris impersonating in the backyard right now. Not very long ago, Harris aspired to be just like Ronald Acuña Jr., his favorite player and current teammate. The narrative almost seems too fantastical to be genuine.
